Question what the heck is going on!!!

I am SO confused! And I'm hoping someone here can either shed some light or at least tell me Im not a nutcase! I have 2 boys already so I know pregnancy and what my body feels like when I am pregnant. I was on the depo provera shot for just shy of 2 years up until late January this year when my last shot ran out. Now since then I've had unprotected sex with my partner several times *cough cough* lol and I havent had a period. My GP advised late feb that it could take some time to get my period back and I saw him again a month ago and he asked if I had had any symptoms, which was hard to say since i'd had a nasty flu for the previous 3 weeks. So he followed up with a urine test and a HCG blood, both negative and said to come back in about 6 weeks he'll do another HCG if thats neg he'll give me some sort of medication to start my periods as we're thinking of TTC. BUT since my flu symptoms went away (about 3-4days after i seen GP) I have still had or have started feeling bloated, tender breasts (this one i was getting even back with the flu but i chalked it up to my bodys reaction to the virus) that weird little pain like your stomach muscles are stretching, moody, nauseous, gone off my coffee and onto tea (happens every time for me) and im getting trippy dreams. All of which would say hey here we go again.....but ive done 3 hpt's in the last week and again today it's saying not pregnant. Has anyone had any experience like this coming off the 3 month shot? Or having a pregnancy not show up on a HCG or HPT long after conception? Its driving me bonkers!

Both my daughters I fell pregnant with 3 months after missing the depo shot. Neither of those pregnancies showed up until I was 6-8 weeks, even in blood tests.

thanks heaps lil miss! At least I know im not totally nuts! Did you doctor give you any idea why they wouldn't be showing up until late? I'm super worried now that I'm going to go for a blood test and it will come back neg and he'll give me something that, if I am pregnant will hurt the baby! How early can a baby be seen on an ultrasound? I've never had one before the 5 week mark.
