Default your favourite carries, wraps and slings?

Some of the categories may tbe double ups, still trying to get it straight in ky head. But what your tried and true fav for each of the following:

    1.-structered carrier

    2-woven wrap

    3-stretchy wrap

    4-sling

    What are your fave for

    1-hot weather

2-extra support when out and about

    3-super comfy for home

    4-newborn

    5-non newborn but baby

    6 todler/older baby

    7-use in water, shower/beach.

    8-quick n easy.

I have heard woven is the everything wrap but can be hard to master.so far I have swaying towards buying the following

    1-manduca (sp)

    2-storchen woven

3-hug a bub (only one I really know of but open to better ones)

4-a water one I heard mentioned baby breeze or something?

    5-undecided on sling?All advice welcome

I have a Breeze Baby Sling (yes the one you can use in water) and a Manduca carrier.

The sling is great for quick trips out, for around the house and in the shower. I haven't used it in the pool yet. My DS loves it and almost always falls asleep in it. You can wear it quite a few different ways and I found watching a YouTube video useful for understanding how.
I do find if I wear it for long periods my shoulder was getting sore which I why I got a carrier as well.

The Manduca is great if I want to wear bub for longer periods. It does not hurt my back or shoulders and is easy to use. Again my DS really likes it and falls asleep quickly. I have only worn him on my front so far but I have watched the videos for side and back wearing and it doesn't look overly difficult.

I have a Didymos waves woven jacquard wrap which I have mastered two carries with (one front and one back) a homemade stretchy which I LOVE for newborn to 3 months (can put it on and leave on and pop bub in and out all day as needed) and a Maya ring sling which I love for hip or front carries for 4 months plus.

I have a breeze, I could never (and still can't) work out a ring sling so I'm going to sell mine.
By far the best for me has been a sleepy wrap (stretchy wrap) I wish I had it as a newborn and I only paid $28 as it was changing to a moby I think? DD is 7kg though and getting too heavy for it. I'm now going to buy a woven.

I love stretches for newbies (but seriously just make your own. Habs are pricey-save the money for a woven :P), but not past 6-7kg.

I loved my ergo, but lately have found it really uncomfortable, but I'm genuinely loving my new mei-tie style wrap conversion (mine works slightly better with the baby than the toddler unfortunately, but it's comfy with both! Just looks awkward while the toddler is sleeping in it)

And I love my short woven! I'm not very good at wrapping with a long woven yet, especially since the toddler prefers ssc to wraps, but I make my 3m wraps into ring sling styles (google selendang slip knot-that's how I do it!) rather than buying an extra ring sling. This toddlers still not a fan, but it's my go-to option :-)

[sorry if I just made things more confusing :P ]
There's a great aus buy and sell page for wraps and slings etc on Facebook!
