    Default White rice/brown rice

Do you normally use white rice or brown rice?

Im curious, as I usually use white/jasmine rice because it cooks faster and has a more plain texture. Yet today I was cooking mustard chicken and felt like something different. I bought some brown rice and I have to say, I will never use white rice again. It does take a bit longer to cook, but I love the flavour and that the texture is a bit more rough. Gives it a bit of a bite.
Plus it is also the healthier option.

I have both brown and basmati rice sitting in the cupboard, I do prefer the brown.
    LOVE arborio rice though.

Black rice is great but takes ages. We boil it with pandan leaf and palm sugar and then cover it in coconut milk, delicious!!!

I used to eat white rice out of habit, as it's what I was brought up on, however my naturopath insisted that I make the switch due to the nutritional differences. I love brown rice...I'm so glad I switched.
