    Aitch is correct Australian English. In Victoria they used to teach it with a "h", but now they are on board with the rest of us

    Aitch. DH used to say haitch but now also says aitch. I will teach my children aitch as well.

    And as kids we never allowed to say "hey". I was taught "hay is what horses eat". Anyone else remember that?

    I say aitch, my partner says haitch.

    I remember in year 2, I came home and said haitch. My mother sharply said, "it's aitch" and I said "but Miss T says haitch". My mother said something unpleasant about Miss T, lol.
