    Default 'H' -- aitch or haitch ??

What do YOU say in your household??

The kids are getting taught one thing from me and my side of the family and another from DP and his fam!

Took us near on half an hour to get past the letter H when DD was reciting the alphabet to my Dad the other night.

    Oh the drama!

I'm no help it took me a few minutes to figure out what you were asking.

    I'm like hiatch? What's a hiatch?

    Ok. We say hey-ch.

I was brought up with haitch but DH has since taught me it is not proper english to pronounce it like that so I now say, and have always taught DD, aitch.
