So many of us have had scary close calls
Doesn't matter how vigilant we are, sometimes mistakes or accidents happen. I'm so grateful that my precious girl is still here.

My 2 and 4 yr old girls were eating strawberrys in the lounge room when I thought I herd a strange noise. Went in to find my 4 yr old choking turning blue on the strawberry. It took me till halfway though the phone call to 000 to get it our of her and I'm a paramedic myself.
Just feel sick about what would have happened if I had been outside instead.
Never thought I would have to be concerned about a 4 yr old with strawberries.

When ds had his first reaction to peanut butter I felt terrible, I'm the one who gave it to him thinking he was fine as he had had it a couple of times before.

Recently dd and ds were jumping on a bed near the window at my partners house (I'm always telling them off for that, they never listen ) ds dived head first off the bed into the window and shattered it. I remember my heart dropping when I heard that glass shattering from the other room, then silence (he didn't cry right away they were both shocked). He broke the whole bottom window (they are low to the ground). Thankfully he was fine, the curtains and lace protected his head and he just had a bump.
