Nothing is sacred between us. I still don't like to do #2's infront of him tho. But after having bub and him being in the bath and having to take care of my infected vjj afterwards there's no point hiding anything.

My midwife was obviously more skilled at poop scooping than DF it wasn't an issue the first time, the water stays pretty clear until you give birth which makes scooping easier lol I think it was a bit dark for DF (was night and we just had candles lit) and I had the pool in the corner of the room. With DS2 I had the pool in the middle or the room and it was daylight. Either way I doubt very much you'll have to clean it up
Okay, so you hop out not long after any pooing? I will have two midwives and a student midwife. I assume somebody other than me will clean it up.

I'm sure it'll be the least of my problems at the time, but it's freaking me out right now.

I'm disabled and sometimes rely on him quite heavily. He's cleaned up every bodily fluid and solid of mine after an incident, but he never mentions them except when we're with the specialists at the hospital, when we need to tell them exactly what has gone on.

When I have a seizure, I can expel anything, or more commonly, nothing. If he's the only one with me, he has to help me or I could die. His choice basically was to either live with it or live without me, and he chose to embrace it with open arms.

He sounds like a lovely man.

We prefer to keep toilet usage private, we've always had a separate toilet and I always wrap and bin tampons/pads before he sees them. Well talk through toilet door crack though. I've seen him pee outside all the time but if he catches me looking he goes shy lol. But we will talk about our bowel movements or my girlies (he usually refers it to 'ishe's angries?') etc openly.

I'm open with everything - as in the door is open and if you want to come in it's fine. He is private with the #2s. I have to leave.

But he has been with me during DDs birth, helped me find my lady bits late pregnancy so I/he could trim it, changed my pads post birth when I couldnt do it myself and checked the stitches a week later to make sure they weren't infected.

When he had surgery last year in his groin I wasn't allowed to check it at all.

And I'm the one with medical experience.

Nothing is sacred except #2's in our house....... Having said that DD loves having someone talk to her when she's doing a #2 lol! But wee, farts, lady garden manicuring, pads and tampons are all par for the course!
