She got a bit teary and went backstage after awhile when Chris Sebastian (Guy's brother) didnt choose her to be his coach. She didnt say anything, didnt have a tantrum, nothing. Just said "give me a minute" and went out the back. I felt bad for her, no matter how much of a "star" you are...some things still hurt and she's friends with the Sebastian family so it probably stung.

I think she's in an unfortunate position as she just doesnt have the same star power as the other coaches. The others are international stars and world famous...she's not.

I'm trying not to be biased because I completely love her and think she is nothing but gracious and compassionate and, kind and sweet. I don't get why she is so critisised..maybe people just don't expect nice?!

Anyway, there was no real tantrum...
Thank you! Agreed. I guess being nice doesn't get you anywhere. You get called fake and all sorts of nasty things.
She's always been this nice, so it's not like she's all of a sudden become nice and changed for this show!
Or it's that it people are just jealous because she's beautiful, successful and has awesome hair!!

Hmm... I think she is beautiful and she has a beautiful voice and is an accomplished pianist and lyricist but she seems like a total airhead twit. I used to love her music when I was younger but seeing her on this show has shown me what a vapid person she is. JMO

I know! And it's totally unfair that someone could be that drop-dead gorgeous!! She is stunning!!!!

For those of you who say she's awful IRL..how do you know her IRL? I don't know her but my "IRL" interactions with her have been nothing but positive so I'm curious..

She really isn't a nice person. I can't tell you how I know this but she isn't. Yes she's beautiful and soft spoken, but she's rather stuck up and talks down to people.
She's nice to her fans but that's it. But anyway, completely off track = )

I dont watch TV and had to google the voice But I read something about Seal in your post so I assumed it had something to do with music and I absolutely LOVE Seal! "Kiss from a Rose" is SOOOO my favourite

Seal is a legend and has been around for longer than the other 3 artists. He will have more experience to share for sure....
