Default 22 month old in intensive care from flu vaccine - thoughts?

    http://www.perthnow.com.au/news/bann...-1226335228864

My first thought was how could the doctor not know? This was a bumig thing the first time yet the bloody vaccine is still being given to young kids?

Would you vaccinate your over 5 y/o with a vaccine that had been shown (numerous times) to cause problems with younger children?

    How devastating for that family

No, I would not give that vaccine to my 5 year old.

Thats negligence on the part of the doctors. I thought fluvax was for over 10?
DD wont be having a flu shot this year, but I will be as Im pregnant. We will be pretty isolated this winter so I think theres not much risk for DD, plus shes breastfed so that helps.
I dont usually get the fluvax now Im not working with people anymore
