    Hugs sorry about the accident I hope you all feel better soon in regards to replacement yes you should replace it, please replace it. Contact safe and sound because they ave a replacement scheme if your involved in an accident or go to their website and it will tell you what you need to do to get the replacement, this is one of the reasons why I brought the SnS meridian.

    Check your policy. Car seats are classed as personal property on ours (budget direct) and we are only covered for $250 :-( we recently had an accident and had to replace 3 seats which cost $700.. We had to find the other $450..

    With our first accident, AAMI immediately replaced the seat on the day of the accident. This time Suncorp replaced the seat but there was quite a delay so I bought a new one in the interim then had insurance replace it. I bought just a tethered booster but insurance replaced the Maxi Rider with another Maxi Rider.
