I just found this article and I think a few of the ladies here will appreciate it... only because it is so true!! It made me laugh out loud and at myself... I need something as I face another BT tomorrow morning and the most torturous wait for THE call.

Thanks Minxyq! It's nice to read something with a bit of humour too.. My 2nd hcg is tomorrow as well , and yep, then that dreaded phone call. Hope it's good news or I'm going to flip out at work. I took the day off for my pregnancy test, I didn't want to be at work if it was good or bad! Can't take the day off with every bt and stage of IVF, I'd never work.
Best of luck tomorrow, everything crossed for us both

Roma and Lilly - I know 10 wks I can't believe it, but still got two to get there lol. Time is flying and I'm starting to just go with the swing of things now. I noticed all these little blood vessels under the skin on my belly today, I had read about them appearing because of extra blood flow, I just started giggling as it was something else I hadn't seen or experienced before.

Roma I have brought some maternity leggings from target and ripe maternity. The target ones are better by far with more support and are cheaper!! Also have purchased some maternity bras and ahhh bras- the girls were getting too sore in underwire bras.

Minx that article made me laugh good luck tomorrow, I can't wait to hear the results!!🍀

Beta all the best for tomorrow too, I have everything crossed!!🍀

Beat & Minx - best of luck for the bloods today.

Zak - thanks for the tips. Still holding out on the shopping until after the obs appt this coming Tuesday.

I will see your stomach veins and raise you a nightly application of Bio Oil for potential stretch marks

Bit of pesky dark brown spotting this morning. I know, after being gone for so long. So there was a reason I kept wearing those pads after all. Literally 4 drops of dark brown and nothing else, thank goodness. No cramps. I'll be seeing my obs this Tuesday so surprisingly not stressed at the moment. I probably should be but it is what it is.

Lol- I've been using palmers oil and palmers stretch mark cream twice daily- as there was no bio oil the day I went to the shop..

The spotting is pesky isn't it, hopefully the ob will be able to give some clarity around it.

Afm: I'm sick of waking with a headache... They are getting very annoying and I'm getting super cranky!! I'm drinking lots of fluid but it's not helping.. Grr

I think I was up on my feet too much yesterday, Zak.

Seriously, why can't the first tri fly by faster? Or perhaps we should all be allowed to sleep through the whole 13 weeks.

I was just about to send a "I'm going insane" post, when the phone rang!!

    Today's BT (18dp5dt) = 550 ... up from Monday's BT (14dp5dt) = 101

But... it's still quite low... so another BT on Tuesday and a scan (to check to see if it's ectopic) ... that will only be 5 1/2 weeks. So happy about the doubling rate but still miffed I am still in freaking limbo!!!

PS glad you guys liked the article...it made me laugh (and at myself)... perhaps I should go read it again... I am riding the low line of the hCG range.

I've told DH he needs to be there for the scan on Tues, in case it's bad news...but hopefully we'll be celebrating good news.
