By the way Zackmick, are you still on prednisone? I'm weaning mine per FS instruction.. Actually I'm weaning super slowly as I know how bad side effects can be with rapid withdrawal.

Hey beta, I was only on the steroids for the first 5 days of transfer, he felt that was long enough to take effect. It was the first time he had used steroids before on anyone, so it was a trial. He is sceptical about NK cells but was willing to give me the steroids.

Clem- I'm not sure if you've done acupuncture I if you can afford to, but if u can afford it and havnt done it before, I highly recommend you do it. I was coin once a week through Ivf treatments, then the day before et, then immediately after et. Also have your dr check your vitamin D levels, as If they r low, it can lead to mc. Keep your feet warm all through your next cycle, and eat 1 5th of an pineapple core (core only) over 5 days starting from day of transfer, as it's meant to help the embryo stick. Also look into taking royal jelly and maca root all through your Ivf cycle, it helps boost fertility. Hoping some of these ideas will help your next one stick for good. My FS also told me to have sex the day of transfer and for the following 3 says as it helps the embryo stick. I was nervous to do this, so I only did it once the day of transfer. I also did everything I'm suggesting to you. Can't say it will be a success but it was for me, and I hope it will for you too.

Sorry your alone right now too. I hope u have a friend or family member near by that might be able to
    Come and stay with you??

    Take care Hun xx

Zamick, i am SO glad that this cycle has works out for you You so deserve it. I'd love the link of the steroids. My dr is pretty thorough, but I'm going to ask her about clexane for the next cycle, and maybe baby aspirin as i know a lot of people take it.

Thanks Agenrod for all those suggestions. I have a lot of accupnuture, i'm a big advocate of it . Every transfer i have it before and after (on the day) and for 4 days afterwards. Plus some in-between. I'm allergic to bee's so i don't think i can take royal jelly, but i should get onto the macca root. I have great family and friends who are mega supportive, but to be honest, i just want to be on my own.

Thank you so much, all of your girls for being so supportive. I appreciate it so much, it keeps me from going insane. I think i just need to figure out what to do next. My partner wants me to take a break for a few months, but i feel like it would be torture waiting. I might also think about taking a break from work for a few months. I think maybe i should devote some time to exercising and eating healthy and all of that.

Hi Clem, I'm so sorry that this is happening for you again this cycle. I really thought you were going to make it I know what u feel like when u say u want to just be alone. I've felt like that before with my bfns. I dont know what advice to give u except to ask ur FS lots of questions for why you embies aren't sticking. I hope u get a better result next cycle.

    Hi Ladies

Zakmick - I'm keping a low profile as I'm just freaking out lol. Terrified of another M/C so just trying to baby myself to the scan next week.

Jaebyrd - It's completely normal for you to have *swollen* ovaries. All of us who have done a stim cycle will have the same. Mine will be the same. My last stim cycle I had a bleed into my ovary and it was so painful I ended up in hospital.

Yeah thanks lillyponds, it didn't happen with a previous stim cycle. So I wasn't aware this was normal and neither was my GP.

Not many GP's know it's normal because they are not fertility IVF Dr's. All the Dr's at the hospital kept commenting on my *enlarged* ovaries too. Needless to say my FS said it's normal and what he'd expect to see in someone who has stimmed.

Actually now you say that Lilly your right, last FET didn't even cycle my ovaries were swollen. I can remember the sonography commenting on them, but nothing was spoken further about them.

Im keeping a low profile at home, only going out when i have to, as I'm starting to show and don't want to run into people I know just yet. I have a 10 wk scan on may 27th that I can't wait for!!
