I remember with my third he was at work. I took a pic of the positive test with 'what have you done to me???!' underneath and sms'd it. Got a phone call within minutes, he had no idea what it was or what I was on about even though we'd done this twice before lol

I wrote a note for him that said:

you + me = perfect couple
    Puppy1 + Puppy2 = Perfect Puppies
Lift the page to find out what could possibly make this anymore perfect....

I had the positive test underneath the page for him to see when he lifted it.
We had been trying for around 4yrs and we were both so ecstatic!

First time DH knew I was testing but we were living with my parents so I snuck up behind him in the kitchen and whispered 'it's positive' in his ear and ran. Haha 2nd time I sent him a txt saying 'OMG' and a pic of the test. Nothing that exciting

My pregnancy happened a week after we'd decided to try. I was a little surprised and went to the doctor who informed me that the 10 home tests I had done were right.

In shock I rang mum bawling but dad answered the phone and told me she wasn't there. I was snuffling badly so he asked what was up and I told him. He said 'this is great news!' and I said 'Really, is having kids that wonderful?' he says 'of course it is, I have you'

My OH is a kiwi and supports a rugby team called the Hurricaines.

I bought a Hurricaines supporters onsie and once I got it put it in my knickers drawer.

That night when he got home from work he was sitting on the bed talking about his day, while I put away laundry. The season was over and his team hadnt won, but I somehow coerced him into talking rugby (ew) and I said 'well maybe next year all they need is a little more support' and handed him the folded up onsie.

He was confused and then the penny dropped and he acted like a loon, whooping and jumping all over the bed.

Wreaked a damn good duvet too.

1st time I was in London & DH (then dp) was still here in oz, I called him and said "yeah umm you were right". As I was leaving at the airport he said to me "You're pregnant with a boy!" and I laughed and told him to get stuffed lol... He was right.Told my parents via text lol.

My m/c this year - I had been testing for afew days and was sure I wasn't as kept getting negatives, then period didn't show so I tested super early about 5am on 23rd dec. Tied a bow around the positive test and woke dh up saying "merry Christmas!" he just said "I told you so" gave me a kiss and rolled over back to sleep lol. For family I had a picture of ds and wrote on the back "IM GOING TO BE A BIG BROTHER!! Mummy & daddy's baby is due end of August" they all loved it.

First time DF and I were just testing the new pregnancy tests, coz, you know, can't have tests and not use them? We both saw a faint line, but didn't tell the other, and coz the other wasnt saying they could see the line we doubted if we actually could. Eventually one of us piped up asking if that was a faint line, which then resulted in DF doing a test himself to see if the same faint line appeared, which it didnt. Few days later and the line just got darker and darker.
We didn't tell my parents til I was 26 weeks, and his parents when I was about 30 weeks (yeah, planned baby but sh** scared to tell my parents) DF sent his dad a text saying 'How would you like an addition to the family?' they thought he had proposed to me, LOL.

With DD2 I felt really insanely tired one night, 8 days after our one attempt for a baby. I did a test at 9dpo and a faint line appeared. Said nothing to DF but when he got home from work he was outside and I said to him how weird it was I was so tired the night before and how off I was feeling that day. He said to do a test (but doubted there would be a conclusive result, but he understood a woman's POS habit) so I went inside and did another test and a line came up (again) so I went out and told him that there was a line. He didnt believe me lol.
I told my mum over the phone and my dad through text.
We went to MILe house for our regular beer and catchup. When FIL offered me my beer I declined with a sheepish grin, and the penny dropped

Got a call, someone at the doctors desk said 'you have to stop taking the X tablets right now and the doctor wants to see you today, your pregnancy test came back positive'. I'm like oh ok see you then and I hanged up, shocked and just stared at DF.

DF asked me who that was. I told him what she said and he didn't say anything. I freaked out and yelled at him "well?!! Didn't you hear me?!". Lol he told me he didn't want to get his hopes up till I went in and confirmed it. I think it took him a few minutes to get over the shock, get excited and hugs me and gets really impatient for the doc appointment that day. Lol.

Telling my parents... They guessed something was up and asked, dad walked out of the house and mum was all omg.

His mum started crying, so at least 1parent was automatically over the moon.
