Bonkers is offline wishes she was a glow worm. A glow worm's never glum, 'cos how can you be grumpy when the sun shines out of your bum?

I wish I had done something special, but I was too excited to think!

DP had been out when I did my test, so as soon as he walked in the door I dragged him to the bathroom to show him the positive test, all the while grinning like crazy.

My partner was there when I took the test - he actually looked at it before I did, so he knew first.
For my parents though, I got a cute card (I think it had a baby chimp kissing an adult chimp) and wrote it from the baby...said how big it was, couldn't wait to meet them & roughly when that would be.

When I got my BFP I was baby siting my nieces and nephews at my sisters house, (my sister was pregnant at the time) I showed him the BFP and he thought I had one of my sisters tests, when he realized I didn't, we started laughing and crying and hugged each other for ages and couldn't let go...

    I just rang my family...
    Wasn't anything special lol
MIL cried... But she pretty much cries all the time lol

First time (after trying for a couple of years) I gave him the test while he was on the phone to his friend, and i was laughing and crying at the same time...

second time (after alot of fertility drugs) i gave it to him and felt a bit teary..

3rd time (totally by accident) I gave it to him and burst into tears of panic.... LOL.

I had a miscarriage earlier this year and I think that one I did the test after he'd gone to work so was bursting with excitment to tell him when he got home and showed him the test. This time, I did it while he was in bed, crawled back in and said 'told you so' lol Not very special.

I took my test alone late at night, just in case it was negative I didn't want to cry in front of dh. It was positive so I woke him up to tell him He was really happy, but it ruined his sleep lol
I just couldn't wait for the morning to tell him (we'd been trying for 8 years).
