Just looking for advice or thoughts on whether I should go to work...
I'm a SAHM of two girl 5 and 3, and expecting a third in September.
My DH can get 12 months paid (70%) paternity leave once the baby's born so we thought I could look for some work during that time.
So I did and have been offered a full-time position, somewhere I'd love to work, to start mid-August.
They know I'm pregnant and are ok with me starting later maybe once the baby is four weeks old.
The pay would be great, the position would be great.
My concerns are: I BF both my girls exclusively until 6 months, then didn't wean til they were over 2 years old. I would want to (try to) do this for my third, which would mean expressing at work.. is it possible to maintain a BF relationship with such a young baby, when working fulltime?
Also, I might miss the baby. Of course.
I've been a full-time mum for almost 6 years, and I feel ready for work, I'm craving that extra stimualtion. I just worry that once reality hits, and my baby is here, I won't in fact want to be separated for so long.
Anyone have any thoughts, advice? Most of what I read is mums who HAVE to go back to work but don;t want to. Or mums who go back with a 4 month old or older. Maybe 4 weeks is too young for me to leave (although as I said, DH will be at home with baby)?
Sorry, long post. Any advice appreciated
