So we are about to embark on our last IVF cycle using my eggs. In a final attempt to throw everything that we can think of at it, Wazza gave me a couple of articles which show significant improvement in implantation rates of patients after hysteroscopy/endometrial biopsy/lipiodal flush.
What I am hoping you wonderful ladies might be able to provide any experience you may have had in relation to undergoing any of the above treatments and the resultant outcome of your cycles.
Apparently Wazza likes to do the treatment on CD3-5 of the stim cycle, but I read in the articles that it is best to do a minimum of 14 days prior to transfer of the embryos. If my cycle this time is anything like previous cycles, I would expect that if we were to do a Day 5 transfer then I would likely just make it in the timeframe. I do note that the first article also mentions that it could be done in the cycle prior to the stim, which is what I am currently thinking would be best. Apparently the outcome of the treatment is still working during the following cycle. In terms of timing he has now left the decision up to me, and at this stage I am leaning towards doing earlier rather than during the stim cycle.
