    Default baby bonus?

    how long after you post the *forms away do you start to receive payments?
    (*the forms you get at the hospital when bub is born)

    Centrelink processing is 28 days if everything is provided with the forms. You might receive a payment 2 weeks after that. So I would say worse case scenario is 6 weeks, as they are normally on top of claims.

    Ours took 37 days after lodging the forms in person.

    I only learnt on bubhub that I can prepare the claim before the birth which I did this time and hopefully it will speed up things

    Took 36 days (5 weeks 6 days) from the day we handed our form into FAO. We got our first payment on Tuesday.

    We were told to allow up to 28 days for processing. Will see how accurate that estimate is

    We were told 6-8 weeks but I got it in my bank account 9 days after I did the paperwork ad handed it in...
    That was due to Easter as They processes all new claims before the outstanding ones.... Weirdos

    I was expecting it to take 6 or so weeks but got my first payment last week about 10 days after sending off the paperwork.
