I dont think anyones really blocked besides my supposed best friend now ex best friend who would just block me (whilst we were still friends) and pretend she was getting rid of facebook, only to unblock me days later.

I have had some people delete me for now reason at all. Thats a bit disheartning. Makes me feel quite sad. I'd rather them say, "You are annoying so I am unfriending you", as opposed to not saying anything at all.

It would hurt my feelings if someone hid their stuff from me but kept me as a friend. I've got people hidden but I havent hidden my stuff. That would be pretty obvious to them I would think. I go by the theory that if you don't want them to see your stuff, dont have them on there. How do uou even hide all your stuff from them?

I have a friend who basically tried to include DH and I in his circle of close friends. We all got along initially and saw a bit of each other socially so we all became fb friends, what an eye opener. Fb friend one- continually posted racist and offensive updates, would enter into discussions but refused to see another side. Would post all manner of political commentary that was wildly inaccurate and refused to accept facts and proof. Deleted him and explained to him why which he took well enough. He continued to pick on me on other peoples walls so blocked. Fb friend two posted something horrific about Anzac day (again, racist) I said so and he literally asked his 3000 fb friends to attack me?!? They did too (he is a well known local tattoo artist) so yup, deleted and blocked. Fb friend 3 crashed a convo about spelling (his is awful) that didn't involve him and wasn't about him, abused me and 2 others (one of whom he'd never met!) claiming to be dyslexic (after bragging for ages about the school he went to) and then complaining that I'd forced him to say so on fb then posted a nasty status about me- deleted and blocked. The whole convo got deleted off my friends wall. After that his wife basically told me it was all my fault (she never read the orig convo) and that I owed her an apology?!? I really liked her though. I'd save the friendship if I could. I thought she'd delete me but no. So I put her on restricted because I'm not comfortable with her or her DH seeing what goes on in my life and I have to see her at a wedding soon.

Sorry- massive post op! In that group two more fb friends have deleted me for no reason that I know of and it's hurtful but I guess the point of my sleep deprived ramble is that sometimes online personas give us a valuable insight into what people are like and whether or not we are compatible friends. This group has a real bias against outspoken women and women with intelligent opinions. I am glad to have learned they just aren't the friends for me and I value the friends I have who accept me as I am, opinions and all I'm sorry you felt hurt though xx

This is the same with me!! My inlaws never bother to call but comment on all our photos of DD commenting on how gorgeous she is and make comments about how she takes after their family?!

Wish I could delete them haha

My Mil comments on our photos and befriends my overseas family that she has never met. It ****es DH and I off as it infers that she is so involved in our lives and in reality, she has not once asked about the baby (I'm 36 weeks) and I've seen her twice this year (they live 20 mins away).

I just deleted my whole account there is far too many stalkers, haters, weirdos and jealous people out there. I saw a guy i havent seen for 10 yrs and he said some weird somewhat scary things to me and hes not even on my facebook,.it worried me and i thought to myself i have a daughter now i dont need people stalking me. My real friends and family dont contact me through facebook its phone/text ect so i thought thats all that matters i thought i would miss it but surprisingly i dont! Best thing i ever did was deleting it.

I would first make sure they had actually blocked me and not just deactivated their accounts... This has happened quite a few times to me. I check by logging into my secret account just for games and searching for their name.

I have been blocked a few times but it doesnt bother me that much these days. I block people too, unfriend people all the time. I get paranoid that people in their friends list can see what I have written on their walls etc so if they arent really that close a friend, I unfriend them.
Sumtymz i Av blckd peple on ma fb coz dey allwys rite lyke dis...it bugs da sht outa me.

I have deleted family members for talking like that lol! I just cannot stand it.

So I understand there are many many reasons why someone might choose to unfriend me, and it might not be my fault at all....

So I try not to let it bother me that much.
