    Default First pregnancy and Obstetricians

    Hi all,
This is my first pregnancy and due to having a bicornuate uterus my gp has advised I see an obstetrician.
I dont have health insurance so I have 3 options..
1/ Share care with my gp and an obstetrician at a public hospital.
    2/ See a gp obstetrician.
3/ See a gp obstetrician and a midwife.

I'm completely lost with what to do.
Any advice would be much apprecited!

What is a bicornuate uterus? Where do you live?

Depending on where you live, I would go with option 1. Public maternity hospitals have fantastic obstetricians

A bicornate uterus is when the uterus has a 'horn' shape coming into it. This can increase the chance of miscarriage. I live in the Dandenong Ranges in Melb.
