Flying - I have done a lot of travelling but as I have gotten older flying is not fun, it is scary.

And snakes. That is all. Oh, okay - and the dark but only when im home alone.

Sitting on the toilet at night - I almost sat on a frog once as a kid & that will forever haunt me. I always do a quick flick of the light first.

When DD was 1-2 she used to be terrified of feathers it was so funny, i shouldn't laugh because she would absolutely freak and and cry for ages if one floated near her, but it was so hard not to laugh!!

    As for ME:
    Sharks - terrifying
Grasshoppers and Christmas Beetles. (actually most bugs but these two... ugh!!)
someone touching/grabbing my neck from the front.
Sleeping with something over my face (pillow, blanket etc) or near to my face, i need lots of breathing room!
THe thought of really close loved ones passing away! if i even think of it i will get all hysterical as if it has actually happened.
Staying under water for too long.
closing the front or back door at night time, i always imagine someone will put there foot in the way to block it, and force their way into the house.
Ghosts/spirits scare me but i am also thrilled at the thought of it.

I have always had a fear of chairs.. Mostly if they are in my bedroom or if I'm in a room alone and there is a chair there. I will have a panick attack and my husband (or when I was younger my mum) use to have to come in and get the chair out of the room for me.

When I was 2 I kept coming out of my room telling mum there was a man sitting in my chair and I didn't like him! Mum took me to child psychology for it as she was worried and all I would say was "there is a man in my chair" if mum went to take the chair out of my room I would cry and say that it would make him angry :-/
A few years later when we were selling the house, the next door neighbor (who had lived there for 30 years) openly tells mum that a young man died in the upstairs bedroom (my bedroom) about 10 years before we moved in.
Mum later found old news papers about his death... Mum showed me a picture of him when I was 4 and I said "yep that's the man in the chair"

So ever since then no way will I ever ever have a chair in my room!!

I never remember seeing this "man" nor do i really believe in ghosts but I'm still **** scared of chairs!!!

My daughter had a rocking chair in her room that her great grandfather made... I had to take it out as when I would walk in there for night feeds ect the chair would have my heart racing!!

Wow I must really sound like a loony!!

I'm terrified of flying cockroaches. You know the big 5cm long disgusting pieces of work. Terrified to the point I cant function.

I went back home to visit family recently and needed a middle of the night visit to the ladies. Went in the bathroom, sat down to pee and looked up, spying a dirty big bugger sitting on the back of the toilet door just waiting for me. I started to freak out thinking how the hell was I going to get past it when it flew onto the wall behind me. So at this point I was hiking up my pants, hyperventilating and grabbing the nearest towel to throw over my head so it couldnt fly in my face. I kid you not. I searched around for the door and burst out into the hallway so hard I hit the opposite wall, slamming the door behind me, panting like I'd just run a marathon. My Dad stuck his head out his room all worried and when I told him about the roach he's like WTF? Are you serious? Uh, yeah Dad. They scare me insane.

Was driving home from seeing DP father and a huge spider walked up on the outside of the windscreen of the car. I literally was driving crying then I'd calm down and it'd reappear. DP was making it worse by saying it'll probaby crawl through a air vent and come out at ya.

I refused to get out my side of the car when we got home I had to climb across to the passenger side to get out. I had to get DP to get DD1 out of the car.

I have a big fear of talking into a microphone. I can speak to 800 kids at school easily if I just stand up and use my voice - but give me a microphone and my legs get shaky.

I'm terrified of going on a date!!

Pulling splinters or prickles out of me - I'm fine to pull them out of other people. I can't even look at my finger if I cut it but can easily bandaid up others.

Oh and I have a HUGE phobia of swooping magpie!!

I used to be a fraidy cat of spiders, bugs etc. to the point of crying - but I just have to get rid of them myself now so I've hardened up.
