Default Making your DH lunch for work?

My wife and I often talk about this I like her making it for me as I like her cooking and I know it will be healthy. I don't get time to make it am I asking to much?

I don't make DHs lunch, I'm usually very busy of a morning and making his lunch is low on the priorities. I'm not his Mum, he can make it himself.

If I have time, I will but he doesn't expect it, before DD was born I did and it never bothered me.

Yes, You have two legs and heartbeat. She is your wife not your mum and your not in pre prep.

Once my kids hit gr2 they make their own lunch.
Is blessed to have 6 wonderful kids.

Yep, sure do. I make it on a Sunday and freeze. 2x carbonara pastas, 2x casserole and 1x pasta bake. I get one out of the freezer the night before and put it in the fridge in his lunch bag, plus a bottle of water and an apple.
He starts at 3am, so anything to make it easier for him. And I enjoy it.
One more baby, is all I'm asking for

I think it's fine to ask but if she doesn't want to then yes, it is too much to ask. She's her own person and shouldn't have to do something she doesn't want. I make my DP's lunches but only because I don't mind doing so.

    Interesting first post.

I'd be interested to know why you don't have time to make your own lunch.

If we have leftovers, my husband takes that.

Does putting left overs (that DH usually cooks) into a container and into the fridge count hehe

I am of the opinion that DH is capable of doing it himself and therefore expect him to do so.

It depends if she's working or a sahm. Also depends on what her mornings are like with the kids etc. maybe she doesn't have time!! I'm a sahm and we have one child - another on the way. I make DH lunch. I think it's only fair! Might be different when no. 2 comes along though. Will depend if I have time or not. DH doesn't expect it but appreciates it!! Hes flat out running a business and supporting us so I am able to stay home with our children. I would say lunch is the least I can do when I have time!!

Nope I don't, but I wouldn't mind doing it if he actually wanted it. I offer to do it, but he always says "it's ok, I can do it myself"
