    Default Tingling/crawling skin sensation

I have had this feeling twice since the weekend. The skin on my face, especially around my nose, feels like light pins and needles. My chest feels heavy and I feel short of breath. I've read about shortness of breath during pregnancy, but I'm concerned about the tingling sensation. Does anyone else have this?

I'm pregnant and suffer from shortness of breath which in turn makes me feel very anxious sometimes.. When I get extremely anxious I get a tingly feeling on top of my head and sometimes down my arms. Could it be anxiety related?
Perhaps see your doctor just to put your mind at ease

I had the same feeling around my nose a couple of weeks ago for a about a week and I had it with my first pregnancy and noticed it for longer with my first too. I think it has something to do with the hot weather bringing the extra blood circulating to the surface, I also feel really breathless in the heat but it partly has to do with asthma. I hope it resolves itself soon and you can always call a midwife or see the dr if it's really bothering you.

    Hi
Thanks for your replies. It went away after a couple of hours and hasn't come back so no idea what it was. I have my next appointment on Monday so will definitelly bring it up. I used to get the same thing before I was pregnant and it happened after I drank too much caffeine, so maybe it has do with that? I limit myslef to one cup of coffee a day but it could be a reaction to something like that.. I googled the symptoms as well and it seems to be pretty common during pregnancy.
