    Default Public hospitals brisbane

Has anyone had any good experiences going public with a ceaserian? I have had 2 ceaser's but went private, just want to know if anyone went public with one and private with another?

Just asking as my friend went to Redland's hospital and she had her 2nd ceaser there, and after 3 days she was made to go home , and they wouldn't even help her change the big pads you have to wear.... nor help her do anything really. kind of puts me off as with my first ceaserian, i was majorly sick afterwards and really needed the help, thank god i got it.

I also had a friend have a C at Redlands. Similar experience, was made to go home after 3 nights ( was her first too) he was also a big baby. I thought that was too soon considering it was her first and a big baby. She had to go back into hospital after due to infection

Not Brisbane, but still QLD Health. I had both my csections at Gold Cosst, after my first I was pressured into leaving after a day, with my second the same happened, but I insisted I stay the full 3 days. 3 days is their max for csections according to the paperwork I got. Assuming all is okay of course.
