    Me..I was 5. And when my brother was born when I was 7 I was jealous lol. My mum wanted to wean around 3 but I was too stubborn!

    When I was at school I had a sleepover at a friends house, she fell over and hurt herself so her mum bf her to comfort her.
    From memory I was 11 so she would have been 10ish.

    Thats my understanding.which to me says its perfectly biologically normal and natural to breast feed until 6-7 then if they havent weaned themselves their bodies will do it for them.

    And actually I forgot I had a friend when I was 5-6 so she would have been the same age who told me she was still breast feeding - from.what I remember her baby brother was breast fed so she could occasionally if she wanted. She was bragging about it from how I remember. Lol.

    I breastfed my daughter for 4.5 years. She's the oldest breastfed child I've known.
