Depends what the antibiotics are for?

DD2 has been on antibiotics for tonsillitis since Friday - she has gone to school today and if she's ok this afternoon will go to her swimming lesson.

It was for tonsillitis too. Although she wouldn't sleep last night so is very tired. I've been sick as well with strep throat and am probably still contagious so will need to ask my mum to take her. Which would suck as I like to experiences the first time things with her.

How did her first swimming lesson go? Did you get to go and watch?

DD went to her swimming lesson this afternoon & did well, is very tired now but otherwise all good.

I post poned it till next Monday. I didn't want to ask someone else to take her I'm still contagious and she was probably too tired for it. That's good your dd's first lesson went well . We're excited for next week. Did your dd wear a swim cap? Did you buy new swimmers for it? I was going to but there's no swimmers in shops anymore.

At least you get to see her first lesson now!

My DD has goggles, no swimming cap (we always wash her hair the night after she has been swimming anyway) and she has a cheap pair of bathers from target rather than ruin her rashie. The pool is indoors and the chlorine is quite strong, I find it tends to ruin the quality of good bathers etc so just buy cheap ones at the start of each term.

    Goodluck, my girls love swimming!
