Default St john of god hospital subi - price of c sec?

Just found out that the ob I was considering isn't actually able to do a c section if needed. If I was to need one I would have to pay another doctor to do it at the hospital. I had a vaginal delivery last time but just want to be prepared for every opportunity. I'm wondering if anyone can give me a rough idea of how much it might cost for a surgeon to do a c section if required at this hospital..

Well it's been a few years but I am having another one in June pg. from what I remember I only paid for the $250 excess for the hospital, $1800 for the ob (got a rebate can't remember how much) and then pharmaceuticals. The anesthetist was fully covered. All up roughly $2500 including ob admin fee.

This time has been a little more expensive for the ob. $2700.

Great hospital the assistance after birth was amazing.
