Hi, we are going to go away for a weekend and are looking for great accomodation to stay either Sorrento or Portsea as we will be getting the ferry from quuenscliff. Ideally something family orientated as we have 2 sons, a 1yr & 4yr old! Something walking distance from the main strip would be great, any ideas would be fantastic!

I think your best bet would be to jump on to stayz.com.au and look into a holiday rental.
I grew up on the peninsula and still venture down there regularly, and am trying to think of places. But there isn't a lot motels down that far.
I know hotel sorrento does have accommodation, but think a house be much better.
