    Hi,

I did it with dd2 in 2010. I was 31 weeks pregnant and went to Italy. Came back at 36 weeks. Probably not the best desision I've ever made. The 25 hour direct fight was terrible.

DD2 was born at 37 weeks.

No, but only because I like to feel comfortable in my own home environment for birth and the period following birth. I would hate to give birth early and be out of my comfort zone in a foreign place.

I would wait it out until the Xmas trip

No way. I reckon 24ish weeks is my cutoff! (viability I guess, depressing way of thinking about it!)
