    Default Healthy Party Food???

So it's my DD's 4th birthday party in July and with a new bub due two weeks before I thought I should start thinking of making a list of things to make.

I would like some healthy choices, although I do realise it's a bday party!

Please please help. I am stuck for ideas.

    Thx

    Mini quiches,
    savoury muffins,
    assorted sandwiches,
    fruit skewers,
party pies and sausage rolls (not the healthiest but you could make your own)

We had ds' 1st bday yesterday. The healthy options were:
Veg sticks (carrot, celery, cucumber) with hommus
    Crackers & cheese
Homemade sausage rolls (you could do this ahead of time and freeze so not worrying about it with a newborn)
    Mini fruit salads
Spinach & cheese pastries (not the healthiest but better than a lot of other options!)
    Sandwich triangles
We also did pizza circles - chop up a French stick and grill with whatever you like. We did ham, tomato & cheese but you could use anything.
We also had sausage sizzle & chicken skewers.

I agree with inertia- also, try home made mini meatballs (you can make these in advance and freeze them and then gently reheat on the day) with a yoghurt dip, chipolata sausages (again, can cook in advance and warm up) and ice cream cones with a nice icecream for dessert. I always find kids love lining up for an icecream cone and it gives the kids a focus. Enjoy the party
