Sorry! You must think i'm loopy!

In my reply I was referring to the old insert, not the heart 2 heart one.
Shows how long I've had my ergo I guess ;-)

I did buy the heart 2 heart as well with bub #2 but I used a capsule when out with her most of the time as she was such a long day sleeper..

If I hadn't given away all my baby stuff after DS I could have given it another try but I'm not buying another one just for a few months use.

I'm on the gold coast & I used mine through summer (DD was born last October) & it was fine but I would only out her in a thin singlet suit or just a nappy sometimes. Occasionally I thought it might be to hot to put her in it but that was only when I was walking in full sun in the middle of the day etc. and even then it was ok most of the time

I used mine on the side, do she was wrapped in the insert and then had both legs popping out the one side. Google that, it worked great for us from birth and she LOVED it!

I live in Brisbane & had DD in August it was great to keep her snuggly in winter but once it got warmer I would just pop her in wearing a nappy and singlet.

I have the heart to heart organic and found it really easy to use.

I used the old insert with my DS I found it really hard to get him in a comfortable position and me to get him comfortable position to wear, because you had to put him across the carrier.

I have the old style insert as well.

The position where you have the newborn on a side with the legs sticking out the side is mega uncomfortable. I also found a flyer explaining how to use the old style insert as a H2H style. I can email or PM it to you if you like. My bub was happier in it this way.
