Oh how I wish I had a night out on the town with the girls. Hope you enjoyed yourself and didn't turn out that bad.

sorry to hear you had a bad time. Do lots of nice things for yourself today!!! you deserve it and i hope you aren't too hard on yourself about yesterday

been there... standing in a group of people whose sole intention is to show off, be "seen" and project their egos. They all had their own agendas and after a while i realized i didn't want to be around them anyway. The lights and sounds were blaring and i had to shout over people to be heard..

Majority of the time i was forcing myself to smile so that i "looked" like i fit in eventhough i couldn't hear or understand what they were saying. The only savior is to pretend to eat or drink and function on automatic robot lol By the end of the night i have a headache and feel depressed that i had put myself in that situation.

blahhhhh... so now if i'm not comfortable with an invitation, i am armed and ready to tell them i can't make it with plausible reasons LOL

No one talked to me or even acknowledge me which was fine i guess. But i sat there and watched everyone, and i just dont understand.

And all of that music and lights invaded and offended my senses.

Im sorry, i wish i could have come back and said i was worried for nothing, that it was awesome.

aww diamondeyes, . Least you have done it now, and don't feel bad that you let your friend down... from now on just say no and curl up on the couch with a book and some hot chocolate!

I hope you're feeling more cheerful now that it's over!
