Lol I really hope so. Sigh. What I'd give for a time warp night back to pre children partying.

I hope you are doing okay tonight and that it turned out okay. *hugs*

i know exactly how you feel. I don't feel comfortable in these settings either from experience. It's not too bad if you have a friend there you have something in common with and can talk to if things dont turn out so good.

I usually suss out who's going to a social event at work before I commit myself. Otherwise I will go into meltdown mode and being really unhappy. Much prefer to just chat one on one with a friend somewhere quiet and have a meaningful down to earth conversation, than in a loud environment.

Best to sit at the end of the table too like Kyls has said. You won't feel trapped then or pressured.

Bleh... I feel too old for clubbing and stuff now. I hope you're just going to a pub or something so you don't feel so old... all those teenagers in their underwear (which they call "clothing" lol)... eep!

I hope you managed to get through it unscathed and actually had some fun.

Im not like those people, i tried so hard but nup.

No one talked to me or even acknowledge me which was fine i guess. But i sat there and watched everyone, and i just dont understand.

And all of that music and lights invaded and offended my senses.

Im sorry, i wish i could have come back and said i was worried for nothing, that it was awesome.
