    Default What's the point?

What is the point in sharing too much information on Facebook? What do you get out of telling the world about your sex life, bruised vag.ina, great boobs, how you made your OH org.asm etc etc??
I really like this person, but oh my it is just TOO MUCH!!

So, someone, tell me, why??!! I know there are a few over sharers here (as they admitted it in previous threads).

It sure is good for entertainment value, but at the same time my respect just goes down and down. It's shocking - in a negative way. And far from an ego boost, I just feel sorry for all those involved!!

    I don't get either...

I actually got in trouble the other day for over sharing about how crappy my day was.... My laptop, tv, washing machine and microwave all broke in a 40 mins, Hubby was away, my BH was really bad and back was killing from trying to the shopping. It really was a bad day....
I got phone call from dh because people were ringing him about being away when I needed him. IT's his JOB, he had no choice. Even my pastor got nasty calls for not looking after me enough...

OMG what would happen if I ever mention S#X......

I don't get it. I lose respect for them, it's not necessary at all.
It's the same when people break up over fb. It's just awkward. I have deleted two people off my fb for these reasons. One who had conversations with her DH over her fb about her being horny and him being in bed waiting for when she got home. Seriously just tell him, you don't need to get the rest of your friends involved. I didn't want to part of their sex life so I deleted her off my fb.

The other friend had a public break up over fb, they had a child together and it was just pathetic. I lost so much respect for her that I deleted her.

I think people like that just want attention, and by posting shocking stuff they are guaranteed a reaction.

Attention/shock factor - My sister posts crap like that all the time, the other day she was pretty blunt and plain out said *insert name* and I just had the best sex ever, I had a go out her and told her I didn't want to know, I haven't seen a status written from her since so I'm guessing she has blocked me from seeing her posts
