I go to bed at 9.30 and get up between 5.30 and 6.30 with ds who is 17 months and usually sleeps thru, so at least 8 hrs. When he was smaller it was much less!

For 5 years I had 4-5hrs of broken sleep a night. That is what comes of having 3 babies in 3 years who were all shocking sleepers. It took me about 3 years to adjust fully. All 3 have been sleeping every night consistently now for about 8 months.

If DD doesn't wake up, these days I'm out for the count at about 8:30pm and up at 5:45 am

It varies. Sometimes DS sleeps through and I get 8 hours. Sometimes it's a sh!tty night and I get 2. I reckon average is 6 hours.

My medications knock me out for 9-10 hours each night so I now need to make sure I take them by 10 and am in bed by 10:30 to ensure I'm good in the mornings for DD. I can still wake up having had less than required sleep but it takes many coffees and a few hours before I feel right.

3 hours broken sleep. I'm a total zombie. I started suffering really bad insomnia when I was pregnant and it hasn't got any better. The worst of it is that DD is a fairly ok sleeper and is definitely not the biggest cause of my sleep deprivation, although she cops the worst of my tiredness. I'm on medication and have tried lots of different things without success

I get the usual 8 but still feel tired in the morning when I get up for work. I get up at 545 and my job is physically hard. Might have to give it up soon, but I feel bad because I know we need to keep saving money but just can't seem to cope anymore and I'm only 17 weeks. Should I just wait it out or stop now?

between 6 and 8 mostly broken though, it's about 50/50 as to wether DS (2.5) sleeps through or not, it's not at the moment as he has his last molar coming through.
