Default Do you ever feel invisible?

    on the forum?

I notice that sometimes in the more "intelligent" threads its the same old people and others just get ignored?

I know I am not that smart and not too good at expressing myself, but I do feel that my posts are ignored in some threads.

But I am overly sensitive too...lol

    anyone else feel like this?

I kind of feel like I slip through the cracks, I have nearly 12k posts but I feel like I might as well be a newbie.

Not really. But I think I'm quite happy to have a unilateral conversation on forums, ie. say my piece but not need a dialogue or response (unless I'm asking for some advice etc).

Fwiw, I perceive you as "popular" (sounds weird saying it about a forum, lol) and visible on this forum.

    Yeah, sometimes.
I think i often go unnoticed, i'm sure many have no idea who i am despite my huge post count. I'm not very articulate or funny or interesting and i am quite polite and don't stir the pot so i think that makes me fairly unmemorable.

Yeah a bit. I posted a photo in the reveal yourself thread, and one person "thanked it" whereas everyone elses photos were getting a million comments. So I posted another photo, and then another one! And got nothing. Oh well!

I do think I'm a pretty forgettable person, and I'm not overly interesting, and certainly not intelligent, so I try not to let it bother me that I go unnoticed. I guess its a bit of a self confidence hit sometimes, but meh, there are more important things to worry about in my life than being noticed on bubhub

FWIW I still love it here and love everyone here. I notice the popular people and I guess I sometimes envy them to a degree, but I'm cool in my own weird way

Sometimes I will sit there and wonder if my posts are invisible as I will be the first to give an answer on a subject, lots of people will say the same thing, but its their posts that get quoted/thanked and mine don't get a response sometimes! I dont mind it that much, I guess I see this place as a huge hall full of friends, and a few frenemies, , sometimes you are going to pay more attention to a close friend's reply than a newbie with 12 posts.
I know there are hubbers that have been speaking on here for years, so they are going to pay more attention to their posts than mine.

I have noticed I kill a LOT of threads too.
