    I am 41, DH is 31!
Met when he was 23, got together when he was 25 and I was 35 , luckily as we worked together for 2 years before getting together we met most of each others friends/family , his mum did say she was relieved when I fell pregnant at 39 as she was worried DH would never have kids ( which to be honest worried me too!)
Everyone says I look younger and DH is already going grey so we really look closer in age than we are!

Mum always calls my DP a toyboy. But I am only 2 years older then him. He's the only person Ive been with thats younger then me and his immaturity bugs me at times but hes a barrel of laughs so thats all that counts.

    my DH is 21 and I'm 27

We're lucky though as I don't think I look nor feel 27, and DH has yet been aged at under 25

DH and friends and family call me a 'Puma' as I'm not 40+ so they classify me as a 'baby cougar' hahahaha.

When I met DH I made him show me his licence as there was no way I was going to believe he was THAT young.
Took me a while to get my head around it, but other than the odd dig from hubby, doesn't really factor into any thing

I’m 36, next birthday in June, DF just turned 28 in January, and we've been together five years. He's quite mature and people usually think he is older. Perhaps I’m well preserved as people are usually surprised to find out my real age, thinking me a good 5-6 years younger. We balance each other out too.

I think there probably needs to be at least a five year age difference for the "cougar" term to apply??

My husband is 27 and I am 37. Most people don't even realise. My sister pointed out her husband could be my husband's father but she shut up when I pointed out that the age difference between them is only one more year than us!

Oh no one says much when the man is older!

There is actually something called 'the cougar equation' to work out if you're a cougar or not lol.

You divide your age by 2 then add 7. If the guy is that age or younger you're a cougar apparently.

Eg I'm turning 30 very soon so if I divide by 2 and add 7, I would be classed as a cougar if the guy I was with was 22 or younger.

My boyfriend just turned 21, and I'm about to turn 24. We have been together for 5 months. Sometimes the age gap can be obvious, but most of the time he is quite mature for his age. I think the one downfall is that I'd really like to settle down soon and have another child, but I don't want him to feel pressured into it, as he is only young himself. We have already discussed moving in together in a few months time, he says he's ready to settle down, but I guess in the back of my mind I do worry that he might get scared away by the commitment.
