HAHA - Where did you move from?

I must say it has taken me every bit of those 9 years to like mackay and want to settle here (to be close to my immediate family)

That Is hilarious lmao I feel the same way as you about Mackay. I'm actually getting a little tired of the place but my partner and I, our family is all in the area. I grew up in Clermont, not far from Mackay. Mackay is so behind in everything it frustrates the absolute s$&t out of me.

I moved up from the gold coast so it was definitely a big culture shock for me. Since, I've gone and lived in different towns, Melbourne, travelled overseas then Of course had my son and finally feel settled.

I wouldn't b here if my family and father of baby wasn't here though :-)

Yeah big culture shock for you lol!!!!! I've done a spot of traveling andlived in Margaret river WA for a year which was absolutely amazing but back here due to family being here and they have no intentions of leaving lmao. I'm ready to moveon from here butmy partner doesn't want to leave especially when we are trying to have a baby because her sisters all live in Mackay and they have littlies i understand where she is coming from so looks like we will be here for sometime.

Well we can just vent about Mackay together to make us feel better haha

I suppose if you look at it from where mackay was 8-9 years ago, to whats happening here now, they're slowly getting there

Haha I don't know about that when I first moved here I think living in Mackay was easier and more affordable.
