Default What do you sleep bubs in on a cold night.

Hi there. I was just after some tips for what to sleep my DS who is 2 months old in on cold nights. The last 2 nights he's woken up because he is too cold- he kicks off his blankets. I got him a Bonds Cosy Sleeping Bag yesterday but it is sleeveless so his arms are still not warm enough. What do u dress them in underneath? Any tips would be great, DP and I are desperate for a good sleep!

I used to put a singlet on, a long sleeved onesie, a bonds wondersuit, socks and I'd then put DS into the Wrap Me Up with a blanket or two ontop. That was when it was about 18 degrees.

This is also what I did with both babies, and also put extra blankets if needed

I'm a huge fan of the sleep bags, I've seen some around with long arms too. I think when DD was two months I had her in singlet, socks under onesie, sleep bag and blanket over the top. We're in Qld so weather wasn't too cold. Pumpkin Patch used to have really thick cosy onesies in a nice fabric, maybe they'll bring them back this year??

I think i need to invest in a sleeping bag. My DS hates blankets and easily gets tangled in them. He woke up cold last night also but im too worried to put too much on him and he gets really hot and sweaty easily also

Sorry i realised this was in a Newbie section... my bad
