    Default What are you reading?

Would love to hear about the book you're reading/have recently read.

I'm so fussy and can't seem get my hands on a really good book lately! I'm going to start one called "The Devil's Staircase" by Helen Fitzgerald.. hope it holds my attention for more than 2 pages, lol..

Set this house in order by Matt Ruff spectacular subject matter and incredibly well written to get such a complex topic and characters so clear. A bit off tap though couldn't put it down.

just googled this book and it sounds like something I'd like!
I love quirky, left of centre type books.. normal books bore me to death! The weirder, the better. The subject matter I tend to go for is murder, crimes, underworld, psycho type books. While looking for a new book to read today, I said to DH, I just want to find a nice serial killer book..

Is The Hunger Games a renamed English version of a Japanese novel? Since reading 'Out' by Natsuo Kirino (or could her name be the other way around, can't remember) I became obsessed with Japanese books (translated into English). Anyway, I recall borrowing a book and I'm sure it was the origanal Hunger Games but under another title.. I never got a chance to read it, though.

Just looked this title up as well and came up with books of the same title about "Gay Erotica".. lol, DH will wonder why I'm looking up books about gay men if he sees the history!
