I was 15, a few months off 16, it was with my ex bf and we had been on and off again since my 13th birthday, I am a female and he was male. We only did it once and then my next sexual encounter was with my husband

To me 'losing virginity' has always meant pen1s penetrating vag1na and the thing I've always found odd about female/female relationships is what is deemed 'losing virginity' with two woman the same act is then only deemed 'experimenting' with male/female?!
    Excellent point.

...and also many young girls (studies have been done - the book 'what's happening to our girls' is an eye opener!) don't consider Oral or Anal 'viginity losing' forms of sex.

I'm female. I was two months off 16 when I had s3x with my 18yo boyfriend. We had been together about 3 months and were together 18 months in total.

I started doing other stuff around 14.

I lost mine at 17 at my friends house on a fold out couch. It wasn't overly romantic but it was special. He was my first love! We're still good friends now

    Good point.
I'm not sure exactly when I lost my virginity.
I was sexually active with girls from 12 through to 18. And the occasional boy, but never penetrative sex.

My first male-female penetrative sex was at 19 and non-consensual on my part.

I had just turned 17, and it was with my now fiancé (male) who was 17.5 at the time. Surprisingly, after only 7 months of dating (I always thought it would be longer) but it felt right at the time, and he is the guy I'm marrying so all turned out well. I was his first as well
