Default Would you support a restriction on the number of children people can have?

I'm against it, but are some people for it? Restricting couples to having, say, 2 kids?

If you are, don't be afraid to say so lol, I'm just curious what some thoughts are on this.

I'm against it, but some people say for environmental purposes/overpopulation.

This one is hard to answer. I look at some people who have 4, 5, 6 kids, and can't look after ONE of them let alone 6 of them, and certainly wish that they had been stopped... but how do you stop them? I mean... every conceivable way I can think of that would prevent a woman, or man, from being able to have more children is a complete invasion of human rights.

Plus, there are some large families that are AWESOME! I want to have 3 kids. If someone told me I could only have 2 I'm be pretty darn furious.

So I guess no, I don't support the idea, but I do wish some people would restrict themselves.

In theory I understand why some people go for it. China for instance have a 1child policy however now there are massive social implications for an aging population. No I'm not for it in practice but I understand the
    environmental arguments around it.

If I ruled the world, kept my religious beliefs out of it and could magically wave a wand and make certain people infertile/fertile again, and in a perfect world were it wouldn't cause an uprise in child kidnappings (to sell)I would absolutely restrict the amount of children people had. It would be income based. Everyone can have up to 3, but if you are on welfare and have been for years (I mean because you dont work, not because you have a child with SN say) then you cannot have any more.
If you make enough money you can support more children then i'd allow as many as you could afford.

There would be a lot less poverty in the world if people only had as many children as they could financially look after.

I have five awesome boys who are going to end up in the world as five awesome men, and will eventually be five awesome partners..... maybe to someone's child on here! So no.... I don't believe in restricting people's birth rights.

no, but i would support free voluntary contraception for the small percentage of unfit parents out there (who continue to have children and havethem taken into care immediately)
