I keep getting told how huge I am and "it must be twins" when I know for a fact that it is just one!
I have gained 3 kilos in the first almost 16 weeks. I'm a size 14 so don't think I am THAT huge

I remember when I was 30 wks with ds I went into a newsagent and the girl behind the counter was like "wow, you look like you're going to pop any day now!" when I told her I still had 10 weeks she then was like "oh you're huge tho, are you having twins?". Some people just shouldn't open their mouths

The worst I've ever had is someone tell me that she didn't even realise I was pregnant when I was 36 or 37 weeks pregnant. I had a very obvious baby bump, I was totally offended that she just thought that was how I looked!

A new neighbour once asked me "how long have you got to go?" ... Um, 25 weeks ... Guess I looked bigger than 15 weeks to him!

Being a bigger girl (appr size 18) I got weirded out when people would touch my tummy (without asking) and say "ooh, getting bigger now!" ... 'cept you're not rubbing where the baby is, you're rubbing up where the food and fat is!

I HATE when people think that just because I'm pregnant they can just walk up and rub my belly! Especially at the stage where you're just starting to show and they think your little bump is cute and a free for all. Hands off, thanks!

People just don't think!! It's never okay to comment on someones weight gain, pregnant or not!! However I don't mind people commenting when I've lost weight hehe. During my first pregnancy I had a male colleague I wasn't even friendly with who felt the need to rub my belly everytime he saw me!! I became quite obvious in the end, coz id had enough, and started covering my belly every time he went for a feel! He got the idea in the end and stayed away!

Ladies, you have pregnancy hormones... use them as a shield for being awesomely rude to people! Someone I did not like told me when I was about 30 weeks during my first pregnancy "Oooh, look! You're getting really fat now!" so I just looked at him and said "So are you, when are you due?". My mother was not pleased... it was her boyfriend at the time. But he never did comment on my weight again. Ever. I view that as success. Or, perhaps I am just a *****?
