    Love Harrison and the few I know go by Harrison never Harry as others said Harris is nice too

    Actually I think Chase does sound American. I much prefer your other choices Harrison and Lynden. Maybe you could wait to meet him to decide if he is a Harry or a Harrison.

    OP have you had him yet and if so what did you decide??

    I think that Harrison will most likely get shortened to Harry- but if you like that anyway then I don't think it really
    matters if it rhymes??

    I'm not sure that telling family members not to shorten it is a great idea- my SIL did that and it was not well received at all. We all still slip up occasionally and live in fear of her! I think that if you constantly call him Harrison then most will follow suit though.

    But I like Harrison too... But the rhyme thing might give him a bit of flack... Like Julia gulia
