    Default Anyone had GD at RBWH?

    Taking a stab in the dark here...
    Has anyone had GD at the Royal Brisbane?? Could you share what happened in regards to your birth??

    Not personally but a good friend did.

    She had a natural, drug free birth, 2 days past EDD with a 7 pound baby.

    She forever raves about how fantastic the hospital is.

    I've had my past 2 babies there just didn't have GD with either of them.
    Not quite sure what will happen this time.
    Was your friends GD diet controlled?

    Yep - diet controlled.

    She saw the on site endo at the same time as her regular midwife check ups.

    They kept a close eye on bubs size but otherwise no different to her first pregnancy & birth at the same hospital (no GD with the first).

    I'm on insulin so I'm not sure what they'll do differently
