    I'm thinking of giving ds2 the same middle name as ds1 so interested to hear people's thought too

    I think it's a bit weird. Kinda like dressing siblings all the same. A bit cutesy and lacks individualism. Just a bit strange.

    If I decide to have another baby, and it was a boy, I'd probably use my son's middle name as a first name as it's the only name I like ATM. Not the same thing, but just thought I'd reply

    This.... If I ever had another boy I would love to use ds' middle name as a first name. I don't mind the 2 middle names being the same as long as there is some special/sentimental reason for it.

    My nephews (brothers) have the same middle name and their sister's (my nieces) have the same middle name also. I thought it was funny to be honest. But they only have one middle name.

    My DS has two middle names, the second one is my maiden name. This baby (due any day now) will have two middle names also with the second one also being my maiden name. So it will sort of be the same but they will have different first middle names so more of their own identity.
