Default What do I do? DS just dented somebodies BMW

Help I am freaking out. My DS1 just accidently pushed a trolley into someones BMW in the bunnings car park and put a tennis ball sized dent in the door. I did the right thing and waited for the guy to return to his car so I could get his details. He said he would get a quote to fix it and get back to me, so now i am freaking out. How much is this going to cost me, i cant claim it on my car insurance cause my car wasnt involved.

Not sure babe but at least you did the right thing and just didn't leave. I'm sure it won't be too much.

    eek how sucky!

opaque - he probably gets a no claim bonus through his insurance so isnt keen on using his insurance.

My mums back panel needed panel beating than repainting, cost $800, shouldnt cost more because its a bmw, eek!

I feel a bit relieved now, my DH called the guy and he was pretty nice. He said that he has mates who are panel beaters so hopefully they will give us a good price to fix it.

He sounds really kind, a lot kinder than some other drivers out there! Sounds like he'll get mates rates!

If the price seems expensive, get him to get 3 quotes so at least you know you are not being ripped of. Sounds like it will be ok, but you never know
