Default Pregnant with #3, chances of another Induction

I am pregnant with #3 and was induced with my first two pregnancies, 40+12 and 40+8, does anyone know what the chances are of being induced again? I have been lucky that my first two labours were pretty straight forward and no problems. I'm worried I won't be so lucky this time around.

Is it an option not to be induced? I went into spontaneous labour at 40 + 13 and my midwife had said I could go to 40+ 16 before induction. She did insist on a scan at 40+ 11 to check placenta and fluid levels which were ok. I didn't have an obstetrician and had a straight forward pregnancy so I wasn't concerned but totally understand anyone who wasn't comfortable going that long.

    I was 40+6 on my first .

Every pregnancy is different. My first was induced 41wks, second spontaneous at 36wks.

With my DS I was induced at 11 days post dates, with my DD she arrived spontaneously on her due date BUT I did take some steps such as accupuncture and raspberry leaf tea to try and encourage a more timely delivery. I wouldn't have worried about her being overdue except that my DH was away and I had to arrange for family to stay with me so timing was important. As it will be again with this #3rd bub due end of June as DH had to go away for work early July so I plan to have accupuncture again in the last month - who knows if that actually made a difference or not last time but it certainly didn't hurt.

Thanks for your responses. I haven't actually spoken to Obs about it as yet, I was just curious what others had experienced. I tried everything to bring on both my labours before inductions including accupuncture but they just didn't want to come out.
