I caught my dad when I was a young child.

He was hiding eggs in the free, and we saw him when we peeked out the window. He told us the bunny put them too high up so he was putting them lower for us. Funny how we still had to climb the tree to get the eggs, so it didn't really matter in the end how high the bunny put them.

Not yet thankfully. DS is 7 and still blissfully unaware of the truth. Easter Bunny, Tooth Fairy, Santa....all very real to him still...though I suspect he has his suspicions.

DS1 came very close to meeting the Easter Bunny last night. He walked into my room while I was sorting out the goodies but I managed to block him!

We don't have the Easter bunny here either. In fact the kids picked out there own eggs this year. Sadly four of the bunnies had been decapitated when the kids put the groceries in the car... O well they are still yummy I been told.

Not Easter bunny but ds1 lost his second tooth so we went through the whole production of putting it under his pillow for the tooth fairy. Then like last time for his first tooth i was going to wait an hour or two then sneak in and replace it with a coin....but I forgot! He was soooooooo upset! I had to make up some story that she was really busy and that she will come later on during the day. He knew it was me putting the money under his pillow that day.

How bad do you think I felt!

No, the Easter Bunny hasn't been caught. But when DD1 was in Year 6 she refused to go to bed when I wanted to on Easter Saturday. So, I said ok well you can help me then and proceeded to pull them out. She was shocked. But well, it was her fault for refusing to go to bed.

Even after that she still didn't twig about the tooth fairy or Santa though. Until I told her. I was more gentle that time though.
