Default Lost my plug, then had a bloody show the day after...what now I wonder?

    Hi All!

Lost my mucous plug on Thursday and yesterday I had my bloody show. Just on and off lower ab and lower back pain, but nothing really. Yesterday though, I had stabbing pains in the lower vaginal area that literally stopped me dead in my tracks, and sometimes that was in conjunction with that dull lower ab and lower back pain. That was sporadic though, and there was also tightness at the time.

How long were you waiting after your bloody show, for labour to start?

I'm 39 weeks today. I had a membrane sweep last Tuesday and as of then was 2cm dilated and 80% effaced.

    Cheers!

Woke up at 7am the day before DD's due date and had a bloody show. Contractions started that evening and she was born at 11.45 the next day.

    Hi All!

Uncomfy night and just the lower back and lower ab pain today. Period pain like sensation.

Labour will come eventually I am sure.

Hope you're all enjoying the long weekend!
