I have both. My female is more independent and snuggly where as the male is more...well...dopey and hilarious. But I have different breeds so cant tell really. My male is a Ragdoll so being dopey is pretty much expected.

We have both! The female is independent and fiery but cuddly when it suits her and the male is dopey, a bit fat and very cuddly to the point where it gets frustrating when it's too hot to have a cat on you! As I type he is cuddled up! They are Devon Rex so naturally very naughty.
Both are totally different but I love them the same!
How exciting!! I am trying to convince dh to let me get another one but he thinks I'll become a weird cat lady.. hehe

    This!!!

I also go by the theory male pets for female owners and vice versa, and it's definitely true for both my boys (sterlized cat and intact dog).

We have a male cat and he is the biggest smooch ever! Loves a good snuggle!

My old female wasn't very cuddly, preferred to do her own thing.

I've found that males have more personality.

Here's my fatty, thinks he's human lol!
